Better Workplace Safety.

The working at heights training deadline for experienced workers has been reached. Employers must ensure that all workers who use fall protection on a construction project complete a CPO-approved working at heights training program.

The transition period was extended by 6 months to October 1, 2017, for workers who had completed fall protection training prior to April 1, 2015. As that deadline has now been reached, any worker on construction projects who use fall travel restraint, fall restrict, or fall arrest systems, as well as safety nets and safety belts must receive this training.
