ELECTRICAL &
ARC FLASH AWARENESS

The Occupational Health and Safety Act places a clear duty on employers to ensure their workers are protected from the hazards of electrical energy.  This course is designed for workers who operate electrical machines or work around electricity and must be aware of the potential hazards and risk of injury.

Workers who may be exposed to the hazards of electricity and arc flash must have a full understanding of the possible hazards, hazard categorization, appropriate PPE selection and safe work procedures.

COURSE LENGTH
This course consists of a 3-hour classroom theory session and meets the requirements of the MOL and CSA standard Z462.
