Better Workplace Safety.

WHMIS 2015

The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada’s national system for communicating about hazardous products in the workplace. In 2015 it aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), which has resulted in changes from the 1988 version of WHMIS.

It is law that anyone in a Canadian workplace exposed to hazardous products be trained in WHMIS 2015.  All employers, workers and suppliers must be aware of their responsibilities regarding hazardous products and how the WHMIS 2015 system is used in the workplace.
