STANDARD FIRST AID/CPR

This Red Cross Blended Standard First Aid course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to respond to a variety of medical emergencies in the workplace or community. The course combines online learning with in-person practical training to provide an effective and flexible learning experience.

Once enrolled, participants can complete the online portion at their pace but must complete it prior to the in-person component of the course, which consists of hands-on training, allowing participants to practice and apply the skills they learned online.

COURSE LENGTH
6 – 8 hours online
5.5 – 7.5 hours in class
Recertification: 4 hours online + 3-4 hours in class

• Check, Call, Care
• Airway emergencies
• Breathing and circulation emergencies
• First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest
• CPR Level A or C and AED
• Wound care
• Head and spine injuries
• Bone, muscle and joint injuries
• Sudden medical emergencies
• Environmental emergencies
• Poisons

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Red Cross Standard First Aid certificate, valid for three years.
