Better Workplace Safety.

Today is Canada’s National Day of Mourning, where we remember and honour those who have lost lives or have been injured in the workplace.

It is also a day to renew our commitment to improve health and safety in the workplace.

Canadian flags on Parliament Hill and at Queen’s Park will fly at half-mast today. Traditionally this day would be marked in many ways, including public ceremonies, but in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s recommended that if organizations or individuals would like to commemorate the day, they do so with physical distancing, virtual events, or simply pausing at 11:00am for a moment of silence.
